Manufactured by Wabash National, the new 2020 Cold Chain Composite Reefer is designed and constructed with advanced molded structural composite (MSC) technology. This new refrigerated trailer is setting breakthrough performance standards thanks to Wabash National’s innovation, engineering, and production capability.
MSC Technology is a new approach to addressing equipment challenges that refrigerated carriers have been facing for years: thermal efficiency, strength, weight, and longevity. Our molded structural composite is made with a high-efficiency foam core, encapsulated in a polymer fibre reinforced shell and protective gel coat. This unique chemistry offers a solution that can deliver new levels of efficiency and higher return on investment.
The Atlantic Truck Show Innovative Product Awards recognize new and innovative products in the trucking industry. Exhibitors are invited to submit a nomination on behalf of themselves or someone else, and the submissions are reviewed by a committee comprised of members of the APTA. The committee selects one winner and two runners-up. The Atlantic Truck Show is held every two years, so 2019 marks the 3rd biennial Innovative Product Awards.
We are proud to be recognized for our innovation in refrigeration, and we look forward to continuing to provide trailer solutions that lower the total cost of ownership and maximize profit.
